We create premium dresses from the finest fabrics (primarily Suzhou silk) and design them with intention, care, and a deep belief in women's worth. We're not just a brand—we're a movement of self-love.
Why did you create Silky Mantra?
We noticed something heartbreaking: women were wearing beautiful clothes but not feeling beautiful inside. They felt disconnected, lost, doubting their worth. We realized that the clothes we wear affect how we feel about ourselves. So we created Silky Mantra to remind women that they are masterpieces, worthy of luxury and softness. Every dress is designed to be a tangible reminder of your worth.
What does "Silky Mantra" mean?

FABRICS & QUALITY
What fabric do you use?
Our primary fabric is premium Grade 1 Suzhou silk—considered the world's finest silk. It's legendary for its unparalleled softness, natural luminosity, exceptional drape, and breathability. We occasionally use other premium natural fabrics like To Chau silk, but only when they meet our uncompromising quality standards. We never compromise on quality.
Why Suzhou silk specifically?
Suzhou silk is unmatched in softness, feels luxurious against the skin, drapes beautifully, breathes naturally, is hypoallergenic, lasts for years, and is sustainable. When Suzhou silk touches your skin, it whispers that you deserve the best. We choose Suzhou silk because we believe your skin deserves the finest fabric available.
Is the fabric sustainable?
Yes. Suzhou silk is natural and biodegradable. When you invest in a Silky Mantra dress, you're investing in something that won't end up in a landfill next season. Plus, our pieces are designed to last for years, so you're choosing quality over quantity—which is the best way to be sustainable.
Is the fabric hypoallergenic?
Yes, premium silk is naturally hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, Silky Mantra is perfect for you. Our fabric nourishes rather than irritates.
How do I know which fabric each dress uses?

Do you use synthetic fabrics like polyester?
No. We never use polyester or synthetic fabrics. They don't breathe, they irritate skin, and they're not sustainable. We only work with premium natural fabrics that honor both your body and the planet.
Why is your fabric more expensive than other brands?
Because it's better. Premium Suzhou silk costs more than polyester, but it also lasts years instead of seasons. It feels incredible. It nourishes your skin. It's sustainable. SIZING & FIT
What sizes do you offer?
We currently offer sizes XS through XL. Each dress is designed to celebrate real bodies and curves. If you're between sizes, we recommend ordering your larger size for comfort—silk drapes beautifully and will mold to your body.
How do I know what size to order?
Check the detailed size chart on each product page. Measure your bust, waist, and length. If you're between sizes, order the larger size—the flowing silhouettes are designed to be comfortable and flattering. What if the dress doesn't fit?
We offer free exchanges for different sizes within our 30-day return window. Contact us and we'll arrange an exchange at no additional cost—we even cover return and new shipping. We want you to have the perfect fit!
Do you offer custom sizing?

Are your dresses true to size?
Yes. Our dresses are designed to fit true to size, with a comfortable, flowing fit. We don't design to be tight or restrictive—we design for you to feel beautiful and comfortable.
COLORS & STYLES
What colors do you offer?
Colors vary by dress and collection. Check our shop to see current availability. Most of our core pieces come in classic colors like Black, Wine Red, Champagne, and White. We occasionally release limited colors. Follow us on Instagram for color updates!
Can I see the dress in person before buying?
We're an online brand, so everything is order-based. However, we provide detailed product photos and descriptions. If you're unsure about a color or fit, email us and we can discuss it. We also offer a 30-day return window, so you can try it at home risk-free.
Do you offer custom colors?

ORDERING & SHIPPING
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times depend on your location:

- International: 7-14 business days
- During peak seasons, shipping may take slightly longer

What if my package is lost?
All our packages are shipped with tracking. If your package is lost, contact us immediately with your tracking number. We'll work with the carrier to locate it or arrange a replacement/refund. You're protected—it's not your problem, we'll handle it.
Can I change my order after placing it?
If you've just placed your order, contact us immediately at silkymantra@gmail.com. We may be able to modify or cancel it if it hasn't shipped yet. Once it's shipped, you'll need to follow our return process.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Currently, we don't offer gift wrapping, but we include a beautiful welcome letter with every order that celebrates the wearer. For gift wrapping, contact us at silkymantra@gmail.com—we may be able to arrange something special.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What's your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or exchange. The dress must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and in original packaging. We provide detailed information in our Return & Refund Policy.
Do you pay for return shipping?
For standard returns, customers pay return shipping. However, we provide a prepaid label (free return shipping) if the dress is defective, damaged, or we made an error. If you have sizing issues, ask us—we may be able to waive return shipping!
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect your return (5 business days), we process your refund immediately. It takes 5-10 additional business days to appear in your account depending on your bank. Total: approximately 10-15 business days.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes! Exchanges for different sizes are free. We cover return shipping and expedite your new size to you.
Can I exchange for a different style?
Yes! You can exchange for a different Silky Mantra dress. If the new dress is more expensive, you'd pay the difference. If it's less expensive, we issue store credit.
What if the dress arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately at silkymantra@gmail.com with photos of the damage. We'll provide a prepaid shipping label and arrange a replacement or full refund right away. We stand behind our quality.

How do I care for my Silky Mantra dress?

- Gently squeeze out excess water (never wring)

- Never use a dryer

- Never let iron touch fabric directly

Can I machine wash my dress?
We recommend hand washing to preserve the fabric's quality and longevity. Machine washing can damage premium silk. Hand washing is simple and keeps your dress beautiful for years.
Can I dry clean my dress?
Yes, dry cleaning is an option, though hand washing is gentler. If you dry clean, make sure it's a reputable cleaner experienced with delicate silks.
How long will my dress last?
With proper care, your Silky Mantra dress will last for years—many customers have dresses that are 5+ years old and still beautiful. Premium silk actually becomes softer and more beautiful with time.
Will my dress shrink?
No. Premium silk won't shrink if you hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry. Proper care is key!
What if I spill something on my dress?
Act quickly! Blot (don't rub) with a clean cloth. For specific stains, consult a professional cleaner experienced with silk. Or contact us at silkymantra@gmail.com for advice.
Can I alter my dress (hemming, taking in, etc.)?
Yes, you can have your dress altered by a professional tailor. However, alterations will void our return eligibility, so only alter if you're keeping the dress!

How do I gift a dress?
Simply purchase and have it shipped to the recipient's address. Include a personal message in the order notes if available. Every dress includes our signature welcome letter, which celebrates self-love and empowerment.
Can I send a gift message?

What if the recipient wants to return it?
Recipients can return their gift within 30 days if it's unworn and in original condition. Refunds will be issued as store credit to protect the gifter's privacy. Or they can exchange for a different size or style.
